• Selecting Your Office Location – a key to success … location, location, location!
• Negotiating the lease – with the goal of saving you a significant amount!
• Assuring you are clear on what it’s (really) going to cost for that space
• Designing your floor plan – to maximize space, create effective flow, etc.
• Equipping the new clinic – and doing so as budget sensitively as possible!

Q: How do I pick a LOCATION for practice?

A: We know that in order for a doctor to be happy, successful and to stay in a particular practice, he/she must live where they want to LIVE first. Once the specific city or area is determined, we assist you with the extensive demographic studies to identify growth areas, as well as coach you to obtain sensible lease agreements and terms for you. These factors are so important that, along with equipping the office in a cost sensible way, it has become a HUGE matter of our coaching. So, you pick the general location, and we coach you into the specific office site, terms, etc.

Q: What about FLOOR PLANS and BUILD OUT…I’ve never done that?

A: As a HealthSource franchisee, you will have professionals on your team that have developed hundreds of effective floor plans. You are in excellent hands. In today’s market, we strive to get most offices built-out with little to no up front costs to the doctor, and have systems in place to make that a reality.

Q: Do you help with MARKETING?

A: Absolutely! We have a very specific “launch” marketing system with specific steps you take even before the opening of your practice. Our HealthSource Launch U doctors are engaged in marketing during training and during the build out phase, as well as leading up to day one of opening your office. Our HealthSource Launch U doctors often have dozens of new patients scheduled prior to opening their doors. As you proceed, you will see that marketing is not left to “guesswork” within the HealthSource family. We have over 70 (and growing) specific marketing systems to attract quality new patients to your office. We have to believe that NO one does it better.

Q: How long after training do the doors of my office open?

A: This definitely depends on you. Obviously, there are some things that are out of your control which can effect the pace of opening up. Things like licensing, permits, equipment orders and shipping, build-out matters, and on and on. Fortunately, we have experience in all of those areas and can typically expedite them as much as possible. It is possible for this to happen within 4-6 weeks after our HealthSource Launch U BootCamp is completed. As mentioned, we coach doctors on securing their office space, negotiating leases and beginning build out. It is always best to accomplish most of that work prior to showing up for the BootCamp. It allows for the work to be accomplished while you are focused on the BootCamp training period at our headquarters.

Q: Does it matter what TECHNIQUE I use?

A: No. The primary factor is your coachability and commitment to implementing the business systems. Success with HealthSource Launch U, we believe, comes down to who the doctor IS more than the clinical technique he/she uses. Of course, some techniques require unique (and sometimes expensive) equipment. So, you will need to be sensitive to that as you prepare your business plan.  However, most techniques fit into our systems and procedures perfectly well. Remember we are aiming to build YOUR dream practice.
